These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Khanak mobile application ("the App") and its associated website. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Description of Service
Khanak is a UPI payment notification reader. The App listens for payment notifications already delivered to your Android device by third-party UPI applications and announces them aloud using your device's Text-to-Speech system. Khanak does not process payments, hold funds, or perform any financial transaction.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of India to use this App. By using the App, you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Khanak only for its intended purpose — receiving voice notifications for UPI payments on your personal or business device. You agree not to:
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
- Use the App for any fraudulent or unlawful purpose.
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality.
- Misrepresent the App's capabilities to others.
4. Not a Financial Service
Khanak is not a payment processor, payment gateway, bank, wallet, or financial services provider. The App does not handle money, process UPI transactions, or provide any financial advice. The accuracy of payment notifications depends entirely on the UPI app and network conditions — Khanak makes no guarantees regarding notification delivery.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free. Your use of the App is entirely at your own risk.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Khanak and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including any missed payment notifications or financial losses.
7. Third-Party Services
Khanak reads notifications from third-party UPI applications. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for these services. Their respective terms and privacy policies apply to your use of those apps.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, design, and code in the App and this website are owned by Khanak. "Google Pay", "PhonePe", "Paytm" and other brand names are trademarks of their respective owners.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in India.
